Myrtle Beach Fishing Questions

Below are a few fishing questions which we are asked on a frequent basis. If you do not find the answer you seek, please contact us here »

Where are you located?

Our boat is docked at Hurricane Fleet Marina in Calabash, North Carolina. View our exact location here »

Do I need to bring a cooler?

No, a cooler is not required. If you wish to bring your own food and drinks in a cooler, that is perfectly fine. There will be a small cooler on board where you can stash your drinks as well. Just keep in mind that food and drink are not provided for your charter.

Can I keep and/or cook my catch?

You sure can! Any fish of regulation size (keeping daily limits in mind) may be kept. Our crew will clean and filet each fish for you at the dock at the end of the trip for you to take home. It’s up to you how you would like to cook it!

Are there any extra fees?

Included in your cost is rod, reel, bait, tackle and license. The only thing not included is gratuity, which is encouraged.

What time do I need to be at the dock?

Please arrive at the Hurricane Fleet Marina 30 minutes prior to departure.

Where will we be going?

That depends on which charter you selected! 1/2 and 3/4 trips are 5-15 miles out, all day trips are up to 20 miles, offshore trips are up to 40 miles, gulf stream trips are up to 50 miles and blue water trips can be over 50 miles out.
